About Me

How I Can Help

Well, my work in the ‘helping’ field began when I began my studies for a Social Work degree and then working 14 years for the Probation Service. I worked and continue to work with a variety of issues involving historical and current abuse (both survivors and perpetrators), Child Protection and poverty. Working in various charitable organisations and in my own private practice has afforded me the experience working with children, young people and adults with issues involving:

  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement and Loss
  • Bullying
  • Cancer
  • Control and Coercion
  • Depression
  • Disabilities
  • Domestic Abuse
  • Emotional Abuse
  • Financial Abuse
  • Family Issues
  • Gender Idenity Issues
  • Low Self-Confidence
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Low Self-Worth
  • Neurodiversity
  • Physical Abuse
  • Postnatal Depression
  • Rape
  • Relationship Issues
  • Self Harm
  • Sexual Abuse / Harassment
  • Shame
  • Stress
  • Substance Abuse
  • Suicide
  • Trauma

If you are an adult relating to any of these issues or have worries or concerns about any of them, feel free to ring for a chat to see if psychotherapy / counselling can help you.

I am fully insured and have an up to date DBS. As an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, I adhere to their Ethical Framework along with the Information Commissioner's Office in relation to Data Protection.
